Though, i know it is okay to take time to grow. To take time to get better, and to learn. I know it is good to make sure the time is right and you are ready, before you move.
But if i am sure the time is now, and if i know that i am ready, then that is when I need to move.
Time, time is so much more precious than i knew, and there is a fire burning in me to go and do and be. Because i do not have forever.
The world, the world is so much darker than i knew, and i want to help, to raise my light high, to battle the darkness where I might.
Starting here, starting now, let me be great. Let me be one of the greats. Let me pursue excellence in these gifts.
It is not my wish to become famous because you do not need to be recognized by many humans to be great. Perhaps my path is to be a hidden artist always, known only to a small few whom the Lord predestined to be touched by me. Or i could be like Vincent, only to be well-known after my lifetime. Or i could be like Joanne, who broke onto the world stage, receiving wild success, with her very first book. God knows the answers to these wonderings. He will choose the path that is best.
What i want is for those who find me, however many people that may be, and whether I am still here or gone on to be with Jesus, i want for those who find my work, those who look on my light, i want them to say of it that it was good. That it was great. That it gave them some warmth or comfort or strength that aided them on their path.
When all is said and done, I want to have used my gifts. I want to have done good.
And so, today, I want to be great.
