Special Moment of February 2026 | Stray Kids: The Dominate Experience

From IMDb

Hey, friends!

Today I wanted to share with you a special moment from this past February --> Seeing Stray Kids: The DominATE Experience in theaters!!

I'm pretty sure prior to the Kids even arriving in the United States for the U.S. leg of the tour, fans had already guessed that they were filming some kind of documentary. I don’t know how they did, but there you have it. We suspected something was in the works, and lo and behold, it was!!

The night of the Experience, our fellowship set off. Our theater was surprisingly full and as we waited through the trailers, we exchanged freebies with other fans.

For anyone not familiar with K-pop culture, when fans go to events such as concerts we bring gifts for other fans that relate to the event and/or group. It might be photocards of the members or little trinkets like bracelets or keychains. We call these gifts freebies.

Anyway, back to the story. By the time the trailers finally ended, most of the seats had been filled up. I kid you not, I have not been in a cinema that full since seeing Infinity War and Endgame on opening night! It was so exciting!!

Then, finally, the movie began!!

It was the entire U.S. version of their DominATE Concert that had been filmed in Los Angeles' SoFi stadium last summer. In between concert segments were mini interviews and footage from the members.

Guys, the whole thing was just incredible!! The camera was sooo crisp, the performances were amazing, and getting to see it all up close was so cool!!

And AAAHHHH!!!! (sorry, gotta scream one more time) AAAHHHH!!! Our D.C. show was briefly shown in the documentary!!! A fan clip showing Bang Chan’s quick actions during the night. When water grew scarce in the stadium as the night dragged on, Bang Chan personally passed out a crate or two of it for us. I'd seen footage before of him and a few other members giving out their personal water to fans closest to them, but it's so cool that a clip of it made it into the official doc.

We so made the right people famous!

Also!! Since our stop was shown in the documentary, it means that we, the D.C. concert, are officially, eternally, forevermore an essential part of Stray Kids' fandom lore!! (yes, this is me coping hard because what happened to our stop was so terrible, at least we get to be in the lore, let me have this! XD)

My favorite song of the night was “Blindspot”! Let me set the scene for you: The bass thrumming through the cinema. The message of the song just being as beautiful as it is, and oh. My. GoodnessWhen the music cut. And all you could hear was the fans from the concert and the fans in our theater singing and all the light sticks and phone flashlights were raised high on screen and around me…

It was nothing short of magical. ✨

Thank you, Stray Kids, for all you do!! You help so many people be brave! <3
