  1. mug cakes sound amazing :O
and isn't getting people to laugh one of the best things or what??
I've been having a love affair with beaver nuggets from Bucee's and am enjoying sunshine right now - just unadulterated sunshine sifting through trees or on walls

    1. Mug desserts are phenomenal! While it does take several tries to perfect the art of microwave baked goods, if you manage to get it right, they’re an excellent snack!

Oh, I love what you wrote about sunshine! I’m the same! Where I live, the days have already begun to get longer, even though daylight savings has yet to arrive.

  2. I shall have to try one sometime :P Do you have a favorite recipe?
Same here! But I am not looking forward to Daylight Savings X)

    1. Yes! A chocolate chip mug cookie! I never measure my ingredients, so these are just kinda vague guidelines for how much I add:
      1-2 TB softened butter
3 TB brown sugar and 1 TB white sugar (Can substitute with any granulated sweetener, though)
      1/4 tsp vanilla
      1 egg yolk
      3-4 TB all-purpose flour (works with gluten-free all-purpose too)
      1/2 tsp baking powder
      1/4 tsp salt
As many chocolate chips as you want.
Microwave for 1 minute. Then in 15 second intervals until an inserted fork comes out clean (usually two 15 second intervals does it for me).
Dig out of mug or bowl before it hardens onto the dish!
And it's ready to eat! You can wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool as well if you like chewier/crunchier cookies.
If you try it out, let me know how it goes! I'm actually planning on making one again today!

And lol, about daylight savings! It doesn't bother me so much now that I'm older. For some reason I just don't need to adjust to the time difference anymore. But I know it's still a rough day for most other people, lol!

    2. Mmkay, I just made it again for the millionth time, and I need to modify the instruction about eating it as soon as it comes out. Don't know if it's just my microwave, but I actually /have/ to wait the 10-15 minutes before eating it, cause it is crazy hot, hahaha!
